WHAT IS STRIP-TILL ?

Strip-till is a tillage technique consisting of working only a narrow strip of soil to sow crops, while leaving the rest of the field fallow or under plant cover. The technique concerns all crops sown in rows (corn, sunflower, rapeseed, soya, beets, etc.).

It is part of the conservation agriculture approach, which aims to reduce soil disturbance and preserve its structure and fertility.

Strip-till is often associated with no-till, which involves sowing crops directly into the ground without prior tillage. Which can have benefits in terms of cost reduction and preservation of soil resources.

3 – Depth cracking, up to 25 cm and formation of birms with the adjustable discs

Every component of the Stripcat is mounting on a wheel suspension parallelogram, wich ensure an accurate and consistent soil monitoring.

The pressure applicated by air cushion is adjustable unitel 600kg with a terminal in the cab. It allows a work with speed from 10km/h.

The patented SUNCO floating trash wheels are an AGRISEM exclusivity. The offset positioning of the two discs, their concave shape, and their working angle give them efficiency in all conditions, without any clogging: in stubble and chopped straw as well as in thick vegetative cover.

Mounting on a parallelogram with an air cushion (optional) allows for precise adjustment of the aggressiveness of the debris chasers to only remove residues: the soil stays on the line!
